5 Era 2 Maps For Your Mistborn RPG Hombrew
The Mistborn setting for the Cosmere RPG is upon us, and even though we're about to get our hands on those juicy details from the handbook, worldguide, and Mistborn Legacy Campaign, and I can't help but make another 5 maps for Scadrial.
With Mistborn Legacy splitting it's campaign between both eras, you'll have plenty of space to slow things down and explore both eras of Mistborn at your own pace. Homebrewing your own campaigns, adventures, and resources in the Cosmere RPG is easy, you just need a fresh idea and some planning.
In my last update I made 5 maps for Mistborn Era 1, and so I'm back with another five maps for Mistborn Era 2.

Roughs Campsite
A lonely campsite tucked away in a secluded area in the roughs.
Included in the download:
2K Grid and Gridless battle map.
I always pictured the roughs as this vast, still unexplored, wilderness. It would make sense that small expeditions and solo travelers would traverse the wild untamed lands of Era 2 Scadrial.
Maybe your party has set up this campsite for the night and are about to be ambushed by a local thieving gang.
Maybe its your party who has the drop on an unsuspecting traveler.
Maybe this is the site of a missing person and your party will need to search for clues to find the next big break in the case.
I like to make these maps open to your needs as the gamemaster, while still carrying the look and feel of the Cosmere.
Roughs Tavern
A humble tavern somewhere in the roughs. The tavern features a small handful of simple rooms, a bar with a lively piano player, and kitchen. Start or end your western-themed Era 2 campaigns right here.

Roughs taverns are probably pretty... rough. Between all that dirt and the drifting nature of your clientele, I imagine you have a hard time keeping things clean.
I wanted to create a space that could fit a lot of storytelling opportunities in it.
There's a few simple rooms if your party just needs a quiet place to stay the night.
There's a comfortable foyer where you could introduce an interesting NPC who might also be staying at the tavern that night.
There's a lively bar and a full kitchen. It's the perfect spot to have an all out brawl in.
Taverns are the corner stone of any good table top role playing game, and the roughs is the perfect setting for your own homebrew.
Elendel Park
A small park in Elendel. The perfect battlemap for a covert encounter at night, or chance meeting by day.

It's nice to use grass. Even Roshar had very few areas that are properly green, and so I'm taking full advantage with these maps.
A park in Elendel is the perfect spot to have a chance encounter. I included a night version in the download as well, so your options on when to stage the scene are up to you.
Maybe its a secluded meeting at night to exchange information.
Maybe its the end of a daytime chase that will end in a brawl right in the middle of the city.
Maybe your party is meeting a contact and just needs some nice scenery to do it in.
The choices are yours.
Keen eyed players will note areas where I specifically include metal on the battle maps. This will give the pushing and pulling allomancers in your party plenty to work with in combat.
Elendel Train Station
A station with a train ready to load passengers. Located on the outskirts of the city, this trains heads to out cities like Bilming, New Seran, and the roughs beyond.

Your Era 2 campaign should take you places.
Trains are a central part of Era 2 Scadrial, and so I couldn't help but make map featuring at least one. For those returning fans from the Stormlight setting, I am working on a modular train map system similar to the modular Chasm map system. Coming whenever it surfaces from my mountain of unfinished projects.
Maybe your party is getting ready to travel to the next part of their adventure, and have a little time to have one more quick battle.
Maybe they're trying to catch a fleeing NPC before they escape Elendel and the trail goes cold.
Maybe the just love trains. I do.
Choo Choo.
Terris Enclave
A secluded section of a Terris Enclave where the youth of village go to learn the storied past of their ancestors.

I'll level with you: its the night before the kickstarter release of the Mistborn setting and I have been BUSTING to get out all the content on time. I'm going to be short on this one.
I have been drafting a "From the Map Room of Urithiru" Scadrial edition. From the Canton of... Transportation? Was there one of those?
Anyway, this was one of the table pairs: a Terris themed map in Elendel.
I was inspired by the scenes in Era 2 where Wax went to visit his family.
Maybe your party will similarly need to make a pilgrimage to the Enclave. Maybe to seek wisdom. Maybe to seek a fight.
