The Cosmere RPG is out today
While we don't have our hands on the physical rewards just yet, the digital assets for the Cosmere RPG have been released to backers, and I have to say, it was worth the wait.

Today is finally the day.
While we don't have our hands on the physical rewards just yet, the digital assets for the Cosmere RPG have been released to backers, and I have to say, it was worth the wait.
I have full reviews of the Cosmere RPG World Guide, Handbook, and Stonewalkers Campaign on my YouTube channel - so check those out! Below I'll give a quick overview of my thoughts to give you a general sense of the videos.
A big thanks to Brotherwise Games who provided me with free review copies of the Cosmere RPG.
Cosmere RPG: Stormlight Handbook
The handbook is a guide for players and dungeon masters to learn how to play the Cosmere RPG. If you played in the beta, you'll have a general sense of what's included in this guide, but know that the full handbook covers additional rules and minor changes to existing ones - you can't get the full experience without the Handbook.
The book itself is fantastic. The pages are gorgeously laid out and are dripping with art that really brings Roshar to life. Even if you don't plan on playing the Cosmere RPG, the books on their own are a great addition to any Sander-shelf.
Playing the Cosmere RPG is a blast, and the handbook walks through the rules in a clear and approachable way, even for those brand new to the hobby of table top roleplaying games.
Cosmere RPG: World Guide
The World Guide is a supplement to the Cosmere RPG that focuses on lore: the people, places, and history of Roshar.
The World Guide has major spoilers for the Stormlight Archive. If you're still working your way through the series, hold off on reading the World Guide and Stonewalkers campaign.
Know that it is very bound to the RPG. The context in which the information is presented often times comes with a reference point for gamemasters looking to incorporate the topic in to their campaign.
For example, many of main characters and organizations from the books are detailed in the World Guide, but also come with recommendations for how gamemasters might write them in to a campaign, and tips on what rewards and benefits players might get for allying with different groups.
That's not to say the World Guide should only be for folks who want to play the RPG - there is lore inside that I haven't seen officially in cannon or even expressly confirmed through Words of Brandon.
The best part of the World Guide is how everything is in plain words: the secrets and storylines woven throughout the books are plainly communicated here, making them much more approachable for the casual fan.
Cosmere RPG: Stonewalkers campaign
The first full campaign for the Cosmere RPG is fantastic. Stonewalkers is a canon story that takes your adventuring party across Roshar on an epic journey to solve a major mystery from the books: what happened to Taln's honorblade.
I won't go in to spoilery territory here, but for those who are new to being a gamemaster, know that you're being set up for success with this campaign. The book is jam packed with details to help you run each scenario and combat encounter, leading your party on a memorable journey across Roshar.
How to buy the Cosmere RPG if you didn't back it
If you missed the boat on the pre-order and kickstarter, don't worry about it. Tomorrow (July 24th, 2025) the digital materials will be purchasable on Drivethrurpg.com, as well as the digital marketplaces like Roll20 and Demiplane where there are virtual table top (VTT) options available.
