It’s been two years since I started Invested in the Cosmere, and I think it's high time for a fresh coat of paint and a little tuning under the hood.

I had the chance to interview Johnny O'Neal from Brotherwise Games to talk about the future of the Cosmere RPG and other Cosmere games at Dragonsteel Nexus 2025.

I'm tired team. Its 11:34 in Salt Lake right now, I just got back from a four-hour 400 person Cosmere RPG epic. I'll start there since that was truly the highlight of the trip.

What a whirlwind. Day 1 was fantastic.

Their idea was the winehouse from Words of Radiance where Adolin and Shallan have their first date, a great suggestion. I like this location because it was it was a winehouse that doubled as a stormshelter, a location that can fit in to almost any Cosmere RPG campaign.

The Reshi Isles are massive island-sized greatshells that roam the vast Reshi sea, creating micro nations of people from all over Roshar who come to bask in the warm sun and relative safety of their new greatshell home.

Another day, another Cosmere RPG battle - this time it's a two for one special. Inspired by suggestions from Mcbizco and Theclericcorner1 on the Cosmere RPG subreddit post, I started making a coastal battlemap set on the Purelake, but found myself inspired to make a second map of a village as well.

So this was a quick battle map to set up an ambush just outside of the valley. The too-natural overgrowth of the Valley is on display, with a quickly thrown together camp just on it's outskirts.

Every adventuring party needs a learned scholar, and what better way to expanded ones own mind than burying that brain in a book. This unofficial rules expansion for the Cosmere RPG gives players the means to grow their arsenal of expertise by reading books in their downtime.

I have been using Inkarnate to make battlemaps for my tabletop rpg campaigns for years. Now that the Cosmere RPG is finally here, I've really started to explore the texture packs that fit the unique atmosphere of Roshar and beyond.

While we don't have our hands on the physical rewards just yet, the digital assets for the Cosmere RPG have been released to backers, and I have to say, it was worth the wait.
